I knew after I had seen the Kony video, I HAD to do something. if you didn't already know, Joseph Kony is a war leader from Uganda, head of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), a group of CHILDREN abducted from their homes and FORCED to commit crimes of murder and kidnapping. girls forced into sex slavery and boys forced to carry a gun as a soldier. the LRA has earned a reputation for its actions against the people of several countries, including northern Uganda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, and Sudan. It has abducted and forced an estimated 66000 children to fight for them, and has forced the internal displacement of over 2000000 people since its rebellion began in 1986. In 2005 Kony was indicted for war crimes by the International Criminal Court. And what number is he on the on the list of international most wanted? ONE. But that is not enough. he needs to be number one on our TO DO LIST, and become famous. ***I made this video to spread awareness about Kony! 2012.
