Albert Hammond Jr. - In Transit

Albert Hammond Jr.é um músico americano filho do compositor Albert Hammond, também músico. Começou com seus primeiros acordes aos nove anos. Fã de all star, sorvete e gravatas, Hammond Jr sempre foi elétrico e teve muitos problemas nos colégios que freqüentou. Criado em Los Angeles, estudou no L'Institut Le Rosey onde conheceu Julian Casablancas, que anos depois o chamou para os Strokes. Foi o último a entrar para a banda, também composta por Nick Valensi (guitarra), Nikolai Fraiture (baixo) e Fabrizio Moretti (bateria). No The Strokes Albert toca guitarra (principalmente riffs e enfeites, mas também faz solos) e teclado. Lançou dois discos solo, o primeiro em 2006 chamado "Yours To Keep" (Rough Trade, UK), com participações de vários músicos como Sean Lennon, Ben Kweller e até o próprio Julian Casablancas, vocalista do Strokes,eo segundo em 2008 chamado "Como Te Llama?". A banda de Albert é formada por Matt Romano na bateria e Josh Lattanzi no baixo. Ess! e discos são apenas projetos paralelos do músico, ele continua fazendo parte dos Strokes.
