Bruce Springsteen - We Take Care Of Our Own

Bruce Springsteen - We Take Care Of Our Own

Hank C. Burnette - "I Still Miss Someone" (In Memory of Jennifer Irene)

Hank C. Burnette - I Still Miss Someone (In Memory of Jennifer Irene)
This is undoubtedly one of my own very favourite songs penned by 'The Man In Black', Johnny Cash. I recorded it at my 1997 'infamous' speed-o-matic session (62 tracks laid down in just one month on a simple 6-track Vestax MR-66 cassette recorder!) and I frankly admit I could've done a more versatile job out of it, but it just happened to be a 'quickie', that suddenly sprung to mind, and it only took about 20 minutes to record it, from start to finish, using a Jackson HM electric all the way through! TRIVIA: "I Still Miss Someone" is the title of a song written and originally recorded by American country music legend Johnny Cash. He first recorded it in 1958 as the B-side to "Don't Take Your Guns To Town". Cash wrote "I Still Miss Someone" with his eldest brother, Roy. Cash included the song on his 1963 album, Ring Of Fire: The Best of Johnny Cash. Most of Cash's live recordings after the 1960s included "I Still Miss Someone." Cash appeared in Eat the Document, which document! ed Bob Dylan's 1966 world tour, performing "I Still Miss Someone" with Dylan backstage. Cash later recorded the song as a duet with Dylan during sessions for Dylan's album Nashville Skyline in 1969; however, this duet has never been officially released. Four different artists have charted versions of "I Still Miss Someone" on the Billboard charts. Flatt & Scruggs released a version on their album The Versatile Flatt & Scruggs, peaking at #45 in 1965. In 1981, Don King took a version to #38, on his Epic ...

- You're a predator in disguise - Hello world! Yes, I've come out of my hibernation. Aren't u happy? :D Sorry, school's been sooo busy, I hardly get time for anything! And my mom doesn't like filming, so don't have a lot of footage either. So, lots of updates! Starting with CP... He's being a bit of a cow lately. Head shaking a lot and pulling. He does it on the lunge and even on a long rein / with no contact, so it's not bit / hand related. Also, had the physio and the saddle fitter check him and he was fine. Which leaves me to wonder teeth? But he's had his done not tooo long ago. Thinking it's more of a discipline thing. With the massive amount of muscle he's built up and weight he's gained, he feels really good about himself. So now he's taking chances and this head shaking and pulling think might be, says my instructor, a way to avoid working properly, since there's nothing physically wrong. And it's definitely my fault. Because he's my first real younger and he's got s! uch a sweet personality, I don't want to 'break' him, so I think I've been just a bit too soft on him. In the video, his first official show. We did the show hack and show hunter. Placed 5th overall in the hack and 4th in the hunter. The judges said he had lots of potential, but just needs more show exposure. Also his second ever time working on grass, so that's also another thing to get use to. He looked super sexy though! And I think we pulled off a good gallop in the hunter and he was quick to come ...
